Description
The Indian Health Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price, non-personal healthcare services purchase order for up to two contract optometrists to provide uninterrupted optometry coverage at the Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center. Services include routine, diagnostic, consultative, and emergency optometric care; examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, follow-up, referrals, patient education, electronic health record documentation, and participation in quality-improvement activities. Coverage is generally required during clinic hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays and facility closures. The contractor must provide qualified, licensed optometrists and manage candidate presentation, credentialing, privileging, background investigations, scheduling, orientation, and continuity of coverage. Candidates must meet specified education, licensing, residency or recent-experience, BLS, continuing-education, immunization, liability-insurance, and credentialing requirements. The award will use Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procedures, with technical acceptability and total proposed price evaluated across the base period and option periods. Offers must not contain personally identifiable information.
