Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is soliciting proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms to serve as the prime consultant and lead A/E for two concurrent capital-improvement projects at Western State Campus: renovations to the Western State Nursing Facility HVAC infrastructure, including conversion from a two-pipe to a four-pipe distribution system, and replacement or upgrade of cooling towers and associated chilled-water infrastructure at Western State Hospital. The combined project budget is $8,541,400. The selected firm must provide comprehensive architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, plumbing, fire-protection, controls/BAS, civil, commissioning, estimating, bidding, construction-administration, and record-document services. The team must demonstrate relevant healthcare, skilled-nursing, behavioral-health, occupied-renovation, institutional-HVAC, cooling-tower, phased-construction, infection-control, and regulatory-compliance experience. Proposals must include a cover letter, representative project experience, project team and workload information, SF 330 Part II for the lead firm, required affidavits, Kentucky permit and registration information, and an official signature page, submitted as a single bookmarked PDF through the Commonwealth's eProcurement system.
