The Floyd and Dorothy Challacomb Trade and Vocational Scholarship is available to current and recent graduates up to age 21 who attend a trade or vocational school, including agricultural and cosmetology programs. Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and submit an application, one reference letter from an authority figure describing their work ethic, a resume, a description of paid or unpaid employment, and an essay explaining why they are the best candidate. The application deadline is March 24. Awards are presented at the Annual Awards Assembly. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the recipient's institution for the student's benefit after proof of enrollment is provided, including the student's ID number, course schedule, home address, and the institution's financial affairs office address. Enrollment information must be emailed by July 15 to office@investinthe416.org.
