Description
The College of New Caledonia seeks a provider to train and support a cohort of four to eight students toward ICBC Class 2 and Class 3 driver certification, including air brake certification. The training must prepare students to pass the relevant learner, air brake, and road tests, with a 75% road-test success rate. The provider must supply suitable ICBC-certified and licensed vehicles for practical training and road tests, and assist participants with scheduling road tests. Training is to include specified minimum theory and practical hours for each license class, and one to two road tests per participant per classification. Proponents must be an ICBC-certified school, and instructors must hold driver training licenses. The response must include the completed submission form, pricing form, and questionnaire covering organizational experience and qualifications, trainers, equipment and availability, and a training plan with course objectives, an adult-learning approach, a draft schedule, and contingencies for disruptions. The solicitation also specifies pre-award requirements, including liability insurance, a current WorkSafeBC clearance letter, and a valid ICBC training license.
