The Brownsville Public Utilities Board is soliciting a turnkey contractor to provide labor, materials, equipment, tools, disposal, and related construction services for repairs at the Southmost Regional Water Authority facility. The scope includes exterior metal wall panel replacement, approximately 8 linear feet of gutter replacement, four new downspouts, repairs to six existing downspouts, approximately 500 linear feet of roof-joint repairs, roof leak sealing, repair of approximately 468 square feet of roof, high-service pump-station roof-joint sealing, replacement of one commercial hollow-metal door and frame, and replacement of weather seals on two garage doors. Addendum 2 provides two metal-wall-panel replacement options and a revised bid schedule. Bidders must submit completed bidding forms, pricing, lead times, addenda acknowledgments, a notarized contractor pre-bid disclosure statement, applicable subcontractor disclosures, three customer references, required certifications, and a W-9 or W-8. The work must be completed within 30 days after the notice to proceed. A 5% bid security is required; performance and payment bonds apply after award at the stated contract-value thresholds. The solicitation also requires specified insurance, OSHA compliance, safety planning, permits and licenses as applicable, material submittals, cleanup, warranties, and a certificate of compliance.
