Description
This Sources Sought notice requests capability information—not quotations or proposals—for three potential future procurement groups: Group 1, forensic IT equipment and software; Group 2, specialized electronic laboratory equipment; and Group 3, ESD-safe laboratory furniture. The IT group includes forensic workstations, servers, networking equipment, cameras, storage, and brand-name forensic software licenses. The lab group includes soldering and rework stations, microscopes, ESD tools, test equipment, consumables, and related supplies. The furniture group includes ESD-safe workbenches, chairs, drawers, shelves, lighting, power strips, and workstation components. Respondents should identify the groups they can fully support, applicable NAICS codes, business type, relevant manufacturer or reseller relationships, ability to provide brand-name or equivalent items, warranty support in Mexico, delivery and logistics capabilities, software license delivery and activation support, packaging by end user, and other technical or supply-chain risks. Future RFQs may be structured as a standalone IT procurement and a separate lab/furniture procurement. The notice states that responses are limited to 20 pages, use 14-point font, and should be searchable; Microsoft Word and/or Adobe Acrobat are preferred. Draft SOWs require new equipment, delivery within 60 calendar days after any future contract award, in-country warranty support in Mexico, and delivery to the Brownsville, Texas receiving location.
