Description
The Title VI Indian Education Grant for the 2026-2027 school year has an operating budget of $211,665. The grant funds project personnel including a Culture/History Teacher, Hidatsa Language Teachers, an Instructional Assistant, and a Coordinator. Activities include Native language and culture classes, supplies for language and culture classes, trips to South Dakota, evening language and culture classes, and five evening or weekend activities per year such as hand games, culture nights, and field trips. Guest speakers on American Indian history and culture, honorariums, credit recovery software, and the Eagle Feather Indian Club are also included.
