Description
The Department of the Navy, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, is seeking 76 rolls of a welding pad identified as NSN 1H-5640-015938056-X3 and TDP Version 002. The supplies are to be delivered to DLA distribution facilities in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, and Tracy, California. The proposed action is intended to be negotiated with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 because the Government does not own the technical data or manufacturing rights and considers obtaining those rights or reverse engineering the part uneconomical. This is a presolicitation notice rather than a request for competitive quotes; interested sources may submit information about their interest and capability for consideration before award.
