Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is seeking one small-business contractor for a five-year blanket purchase agreement supporting its Operations Division. The contractor must provide machining services and related consumables, supplies, replacement components, tools, equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, and machine-shop facilities on an as-needed basis through future call orders. Required capabilities include turning, milling, drilling, boring, reaming, subtractive and additive machining, casting, coating, finishing, and line boring. Materials may include bronze, aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, and fiber-reinforced polymer. The work includes field and shop repair, component inspection, fabrication, transportation, and emergency response support. The contractor must maintain an enclosed shop within 80 miles of the New Orleans District headquarters and perform delivery or services within a 100-mile radius of 7400 Leake Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana. The BPA has a stated ceiling of $3,919,668 and requires trained machinists with at least three years of experience, appropriate tools and equipment, insurance, safety compliance, and facility-access screening.
