Description
The Texas A&M University System is soliciting statements of qualifications from an Architect/Engineer firm for the Public and Allied Health Facility project at Prairie View A&M University. The planned facility will support the School of Public and Allied Health and include specialty laboratories for kinesiology, physical education, health, and public health; flexible classrooms; event space; and administrative, faculty, and staff workspaces. The project is intended to support future enrollment, interprofessional training, research, collaboration, and partnerships. The stated planning amount is $129,992,058, including an Amount Available for Construction Contract of $94,909,452; the balance covers fees, furnishings, other work, miscellaneous expenses, and contingencies. This RFQ is the first step in selecting a firm, and the owner may invite the three or more highest-ranked qualified respondents to interview. Qualifications must be submitted through the designated electronic builder platform.
