Description
Harrison Township is seeking a qualified individual for a full-time Certified Tax Collector/Sewer Collector position. This role is responsible for the oversight and management of all aspects of reporting, billing, collection, and enforcement of property taxes, as well as handling pilot payments, tax abatement programs, and bank account reconciliation for approximately 5000 tax line items and 3000 sewer accounts. The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to interact efficiently with the public, Township officials, and employees. Knowledge of the Edmunds system is required. The position requires a Certified Municipal Tax Collector's Certificate and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
