Description
Incline Village General Improvement District seeks a qualified design-build team to redesign and replace the Diamond Peak snowmaking system. The scope includes complete engineering and design by appropriately licensed Nevada professionals; hydraulic and snowmaking-system modeling; civil, mechanical, electrical, controls, communications, and automation design; field verification; permitting support; constructability review; estimating; scheduling; procurement planning; commissioning documentation; record drawings; staff training; and development of construction-ready documents. The modernized system is expected to replace deteriorated air-water infrastructure with approximately 30,000 linear feet of high-pressure water main, associated laterals and appurtenances, approximately 92 automated tower-mounted fan-gun locations, limited portable fan guns, electrical distribution, communications infrastructure, automated controls, and pump-house interfaces. The initial agreement covers design and preconstruction services; construction would proceed only through separately authorized packages subject to negotiation, board authorization, funding, permits, and the District's determination that proceeding is in its best interest. The planning opinion of probable construction cost is approximately $8,000,000. Proposals are limited to 25 pages and must include team information, key-personnel qualifications, comparable project experience, past performance, project approach, safety and environmental information, specified eligibility and licensing evidence, bonding and insurance evidence, and client references. A fee proposal is not submitted with this package.
