Description
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Division of Purchases, on behalf of its Division of Equipment, is seeking a vendor for a master agreement covering annual dielectric and structural testing services. Estimated quantities are 36 structural analysis tests and 36 AC dielectric tests per year; actual quantities are not guaranteed, and work may be ordered by authorized delivery order. The scope includes AC voltage testing of boom components, insulators, basket liners, and hydraulic-system insulating oil; bonding of upper-boom components; magnetic-particle testing of critical welds; ultrasonic testing of critical structural components; written verification of compliance; and documentation identifying the unit number, testing date and time, and location. Testing must comply with current OSHA requirements and generally occur during the same month as prior annual inspections. The initial contract period is January 1, 2027, through January 31, 2028, with four additional one-year renewal options. The solicitation permits subcontracting, requires applicable insurance, and evaluates bids solely on price.
