Description
The San Jacinto River Authority is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for construction services to replace Structure 2 and improve approximately 150 feet of the South Canal in the Highlands Division. The scope includes removal and disposal of the existing structure, temporary canal-water bypass and water management, erosion control, trench safety, site access and traffic control, grading and hydromulching, rock stabilization, a 48-inch FRP pipe, concrete headwalls and wingwalls, concrete canal-bypass lining, riprap with geotextile underlayment, staff gauges and related electrical components, slide gates, stop-log frames, handrails and gates, and crushed-concrete base work. An engineer's opinion of probable construction cost is $1,304,000.
