Description
Texas A&M AgriLife Research is seeking a qualified vegetation management contractor to eradicate Brazilian peppertree (Schinus terebinthifolius) across approximately 5.4 acres. The work includes cut-stump mechanical removal, immediate application of approved herbicide, complete-mortality treatment, labor, supervision, equipment, tools, herbicides, personal protective equipment, transportation, safety equipment, and disposal services. The contractor must provide separate pricing and methodology for off-site disposal of cut material from two golf-course treatment areas, while material may remain in place at two shoreline areas. The scope also requires coordination of installation access, licensed Texas commercial herbicide applicators, herbicide approval information, treatment records, maps, photographs, and GIS deliverables compatible with standard ESRI formats. Bidders must submit qualifications and relevant experience, applicator licenses, methodology, proposed herbicides, access and logistics approach, disposal methodology, preliminary schedule, and separate pricing for treatment, disposal, and optional boat access.
