Description
The City of Bisbee is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase of a circa-1910 single-family residence on approximately 0.07 acres at 75C OK Street. The successful purchaser must restore the residence and rebuild a failed rear retaining wall at its sole cost. The property is sold as-is and where-is, and bidders are responsible for conducting their own due diligence. The property is located in the Bisbee Historic Overlay District and cannot be demolished. Exterior historic restoration work must receive approval from the Bisbee Design Review Board before work begins. The purchaser must obtain engineered design drawings and a building permit, begin retaining-wall work within six months of purchase, and complete the work within the permit term. Bidders must submit a specific dollar amount, demonstrate comparable residential restoration experience, show the ability to access appropriate funding, and demonstrate readiness to proceed.
