Description
This invitation for bids covers the complete demolition and remodeling of 20 apartment units at the Parkridge Housing Development, including limited exterior renovations. The scope includes selective demolition, rough and finish carpentry, kitchen cabinets and solid-surface countertops, doors and windows, gypsum wallboard, painting, resilient flooring, plumbing, electrical work, sealants, landscaping, cleaning, temporary construction controls, and related architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and utility work shown in the drawings and specifications. The contractor must field-verify existing conditions, coordinate work across multiple trades, protect occupied and adjacent areas, provide required materials and labor, obtain permits, and complete close-out documentation. Work is to proceed in phases, with no more than two apartments released to the contractor at one time. A 10% bid bond is required with each bid, and the successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds.
