Description
The Fulton County Land Reutilization Corporation and the Village of Delta seek a contractor for the Bunting Bearings Plant #3 Demolition Project at 200 Van Buren Street. The scope includes HEPA vacuuming of building surfaces to control lead-contaminated dust, baghouse demolition, hazardous-materials removal, asbestos abatement, building demolition, and off-site disposal in accordance with applicable regulations. The engineer's estimate is $350,000 for remediation, asbestos abatement, and decontamination, plus $500,000 for demolition of Building 3 and the baghouse. The project is subject to federal labor standards, Davis-Bacon wage requirements, Section 3 and equal-employment provisions, and required insurance and bonding. Work must be completed by May 30, 2027. A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough is required, and bids must use the provided bid proposal forms and include a 100% bid bond.
