Description
The State University of New York Student Loan Service Center, operating under the administration of the University at Albany, is seeking two collection agencies to handle delinquent federal campus-based student loans and past-due educational accounts receivable. Proposers must be actively engaged in collection services and have experience with federal campus-based student loan programs and delinquent accounts receivable. Each selected agency will enter into two separate agreements: one for student loan collections and one for delinquent accounts receivable. The solicitation identifies RMS – Recovery Management Services, Inc. and National Collections Systems, Inc. as businesses awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years. Participation goals are 6% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses, 15% for Minority-Owned Businesses, and 15% for Woman-Owned Businesses.
