Description
The University of Alabama in Huntsville is soliciting proposals from qualified compensation consulting firms to review and modernize compensation structures and job architecture for staff, faculty, and research positions. The engagement includes current-state assessment; market analysis and benchmarking; compensation philosophy and salary structure recommendations; job families, career tracks, and leveling frameworks; position-description review and standardization; internal equity, compression, and inversion analysis; performance-based compensation recommendations; financial modeling; and implementation planning. The selected consultant will also provide implementation assistance, HR and manager training, communication materials, administration tools, editable deliverables, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation support. Proposals must describe the firm's methodology, higher-education experience, project team, references, market-data sources, project plan, deliverables, resource requirements, conflicts of interest, and detailed phase- and component-level pricing. The University may award the engagement in whole or in part and may separately authorize optional services and support periods.
