Description
The National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, is conducting a Small Business Sources Sought notice for a new Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Excedion Pro mass spectrometry system configured for ETD, together with associated Vanquish Horizon UHPLC components. The system will replace an existing Q Exactive Plus platform and support high-resolution, accurate-mass LC-MS research requiring high sensitivity, mass accuracy, resolving power, and advanced fragmentation capability. The requested acquisition includes the Orbitrap Excedion Pro bundle, ETD-related options and calibration materials, maintenance consumables, a three-day customer-site LSMS training course, and extended and factory warranty coverage. The Vanquish Horizon bundle includes the system base, binary pump, inline filter, split sampler, column compartment, MS connection kit, starter kit, power cord, and related extended warranties. Shipping is also included. This is described as a one-time, firm-fixed-price supply acquisition with associated training and warranty support. Respondents must submit a capability statement of no more than seven pages addressing business size and type, vendor and point-of-contact information, UEI, and relevant technical qualifications and capabilities.
