Description
Wetzel County Board of Education is soliciting bids for cutting and removing approximately 50 acres of trees at 135 King Lane, Porters Falls, West Virginia. Stump grubbing is not required. The work must be substantially completed within 60 calendar days after contract times commence and completed and ready for final payment within 75 days. Liquidated damages are $500 per day. Bids require 5% bid security, a West Virginia contractor’s license, and a Drug Free Workplace Certification. A two-envelope submission system applies, with the bid proposal placed inside the first envelope; detailed submittal requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders.
