Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is soliciting construction services for Phase 1 improvements at Ryerson Station State Park. The work includes an access road and new bridge across the old lakebed, loop trail, parking, pavilions, a play area, comfort station, pedestrian bridge, paddle-craft launches, fishing docks, and utility updates and extensions. The project also includes stream corridor restoration, including floodplain excavation, main-channel and kayak-trail construction, bank armoring, habitat-pool installation, and pond construction. The opportunity identifies an engineer's estimate of more than $1 million and participation goals of 17% for small disadvantaged businesses and 3% for veteran business enterprises.
