Description
Forsyth County is seeking a qualified construction contractor to extend its potable water distribution system. Work includes approximately 850 feet of 12-inch waterline along Bottoms Road, decommissioning approximately 450 feet of existing 2-inch waterline, and approximately 550 feet of new 10-inch water main providing a second feed to the Hampton subdivision from Settingdown Road to Hampton Rock Lane. The scope includes fire hydrants, valves, casing, connections to existing water mains, pavement repair, site cleanup, and restoration. The revised bid form includes a $50,000 golf-course restoration allowance, a $100,000 owner-directed contingency allowance, and a rock-bore adder bid item. Addendum 1 clarifies that the bid acceptance period is 120 days and provides revised bid-form and rock-removal provisions. Bids are submitted electronically through EUNA Procurement and must include the required bid security, forms, qualifications, and supporting materials.
