Description
The University of Missouri System is requesting proposals for the furnishing and delivery of furniture for the University of Missouri-St. Louis Student Services Building modernization and expansion. The broader scope includes classroom, lounge, office, conference, task, guest, and multipurpose seating; classroom, cafe, bar-height, mobile, laptop, conference, and occasional tables; private-office and open-office groupings; power towers; storage cabinets, shelving, credenzas, lateral files; markerboards; trash cans; and related fees. Many items are basis-of-design products, while certain classroom furniture items are specified as no-alternate products. Respondents must provide pricing, product information, proposed alternatives where permitted, warranty information, and lead times. The project also requires design coordination, finish and specification finalization, drawing and specification verification, warehouse and inspection capabilities, and installation by a factory-trained company with higher-education experience. Mandatory requirements include an owner/manager, project manager, and designer with at least five years of commercial FF&E experience; an owner/manager available in St. Louis for project direction; and a Missouri-based dealership and installation company within 30 miles of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The response must include a PowerPoint presentation addressing the specified items in chronological order, along with responses to mandatory and desirable criteria and required online bid attributes.
