Description
Santa Monica Community College District seeks bids to furnish and install scientific lab classroom furniture for its Main Campus Science Building, Room 224. Items include ergonomic laboratory chairs and stools, classroom tables, freestanding laboratory benches with phenolic worktops, steel shelves, LED task lights and power strips, and stainless-steel retaining rail kits. Bidders must provide pricing and product specification sheets with pictures; offered products must meet or exceed the stated specifications and be new. Furniture must be delivered fully assembled, installed, adjusted, and supported with warranty documentation and post-installation support. Delivery, installation, and completion are required within 12 weeks after receipt of order. The contractor must coordinate scheduling with department staff, work around class schedules as needed, bring units to the site as needed because campus storage is unavailable, and remove packaging and debris. The scope excludes facility construction, utility modifications, laboratory equipment procurement, and moving existing laboratory equipment.
