Description
Santa Monica Community College District is soliciting a lump-sum bid to replace the Broad Stage’s existing video projector. The selected contractor must engineer, furnish, deliver, install, program, integrate, and test a Christie CP4425 RGB projector system, including the specified high-brightness lens, touch-screen panel, exhaust duct, rack stand adapter, technical labor, and freight. The proposed system must meet detailed 4K DCI cinema projection, brightness, connectivity, processing, lens, cooling, sealed-optics, ScreenFit, and high-frame-rate requirements, while not exceeding the existing projection-room equipment’s size, weight, or footprint. The work includes removal of the existing equipment, delivery and installation of the new equipment, prevailing-wage labor, programming, testing, training, manuals, warranties, serial-number documentation, and project topography. The contractor must be a C-7 California licensed contractor, registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations, and an authorized Christie distributor, installer, reseller, and service provider. The project requires a 10% bid bond, 100% payment and performance bonds, and submission of the listed bid forms and certifications through the online bidding portal.
