Description
Wellesley Public Schools seeks an industrial warewashing contractor for Bates and Fiske Elementary Schools. The awarded contractor must provide daily pickup of approximately 350 reusable lunch trays and six hinged containers, wash and sanitize them in accordance with NSF/ANSI Standard 3 and FDA Food Code requirements, and return them to the schools on each scheduled meal-service day. Services include transportation, tray tracking, sanitation documentation, operational and contingency procedures, launch support, and quarterly contract review meetings. The contractor must operate a third-party-audited, properly licensed facility with HACCP and GMP programs, food-safe and eco-friendly cleaning products, documented sanitation and corrective-action procedures, enclosed transport vehicles that separate clean and soiled trays, and capacity for at least 350 trays per day. Proposal submissions must include the prescribed price and non-price forms, operational-flow and quality-control information, references, required certifications, and specified facility, chemical, and compliance documentation. The initial term runs from November 2, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with two possible one-year extensions through June 30, 2029.
