Description
The Port of Vancouver USA is soliciting bids for the replacement of 134 non-compliant security cameras and removal and disposal of approximately 40 sets of obsolete Wi-Fi devices, cabling, antennas, and associated equipment. The work includes furnishing specified cameras and related mounting, conduit, power, and connectivity equipment; pre-configuring and installing the cameras using existing network cabling; integrating them with the Port’s video management and network systems; and providing manlifts, scheduling, safety documentation, and coordination with Port security and operations personnel. The camera scope includes outdoor bullet, PTZ dome, license-plate-capture, thermal, and indoor network cameras. The project is divided into three independently invoiced line items: 106 grant-funded camera replacements, 28 non-grant-funded camera replacements, and removal of obsolete Wi-Fi equipment. All personnel working in restricted areas must possess TWIC credentials, and the contractor must comply with prevailing-wage requirements, federal grant requirements, Port security protocols, and applicable cybersecurity and telecommunications restrictions. The engineer’s estimate is $416,240 to $508,740, and the work must be completed within 150 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
