Description
The Road Commission for Oakland County is soliciting firm-fixed unit prices for shop fluids in estimated quantities, to be ordered as needed under a one-year blanket order. Products must meet the stated specifications and be manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer or be an approved equal. The commission does not guarantee purchase quantities and may increase, decrease, add, or delete like or related items during the contract term. Goods must be delivered tailgate to the stockroom, and bidders must provide pricing and complete the supplied IFB document. The bid form also requests information about product deviations, price-hold duration, minimum order requirements, delivery time, payment discounts, and ordering and customer-service contacts. Samples may be requested during evaluation. The successful bidder must maintain specified liability and workers’ compensation insurance, provide a W-9 after award, and supply material safety data sheets for hazardous products when applicable.
