Description
The district is seeking a contractor to furnish and install a complete structured cabling system for its Early Childhood Center. The scope includes approximately 150,000 feet of RJ45 cabling, Category 6 cabling to network drop locations, Category 6A cabling to wireless access point locations, separate pathways for the two cabling systems, associated supports, terminations and accessories, approximately 20,000 miscellaneous installation items, and two racks. The contractor must include its E-rate SPIN in the bid. The bid requires one original, three copies, and one electronic copy. Bid security of 5% of the total bid is required as a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check. The bidder must submit completed Bid Form and affidavits, along with proof of required Michigan prevailing-wage contractor registration. A satisfactory performance and labor and material payment bond is required as a condition of award.
