Description
Steuben County is soliciting firm unit pricing for a broad range of lubricants and related fluids, including universal-fleet and all-weather motor oils, hydraulic oils, tractor hydraulic/transmission fluids, automatic transmission fluids, synthetic and mineral gear lubricants, industrial gear oil, greases, antifreeze, diesel exhaust fluid, and premixed washer solvent. Products must meet the specified manufacturer, API, ASTM, OEM, viscosity, performance, labeling, packaging, and quality requirements; recycled oils and rebranded products are not acceptable. The contract is for purchases as required, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantity. The vendor must provide delivery within 10 calendar days of an order to County Public Works shops and landfill or transfer-station locations, permit County pickup when required, provide product specifications and standard warranty information, support an oil-sample analysis program of approximately 500 annual tests, and provide related technical assistance, maintenance folders, identification plates, and fleet-survey services at no additional charge. Bidders must price every line item, submit product-identification information and manufacturer specifications, and include the required bid forms, certifications, bid surety, and supporting documentation.
