Description
Stillwater Utilities Authority is soliciting construction bids for a new 24-million-gallon-per-day raw water pump station serving the Lake McMurtry Secondary Raw Water System. The work includes a CMU pump station building; five vertical turbine pumps and motors with variable frequency drives; associated piping, valves, yard piping, drainage, electrical, instrumentation and controls; an access road; restoration of disturbed areas; and testing, commissioning, and integration with the existing SCADA system. The project also includes construction of related site improvements and a finished-water connection along Airport Road. This is a two-step procurement: prequalification is required before a bidder may submit a bid. Qualified bidders must demonstrate at least three projects within the last 10 years involving new water or wastewater pump stations with at least 15 million gallons per day of firm capacity, including at least one station with vertical turbine pumps in cans. The contractor must self-perform at least 30 percent of the project by cost. A five-percent bid guarantee is required, and the successful contractor must provide performance, maintenance, and statutory bonds plus required insurance at contract signing.
