Description
The National Institute on Drug Abuse intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to Novogene Corporation, Inc. for comprehensive genomic laboratory and bioinformatics services supporting pharmacogenomic analysis of biospecimens from participants in the STAR-B randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial of semaglutide for Alcohol Use Disorder. The requirement includes receiving and processing biospecimens; DNA extraction when required; DNA quantity and integrity quality-control assessment; genome-wide genotyping and/or sequencing; generation of raw and processed genomic data; standard bioinformatic processing; and maintenance of chain-of-custody and sample-tracking documentation. Required deliverables include sample receipt and inventory, DNA quality assessment, laboratory processing, raw data, processed genotype or variant-call files, variant annotation files, comprehensive quality-control reporting, bioinformatics methods documentation, and a final project summary report. The period of performance is 12 months from award. The notice is a sole-source notice rather than a request for competitive proposals, although interested parties may submit capability information for the agency's consideration.
