The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, on behalf of the 419th Contract Support Brigade, has approved a formal consolidation determination for the upcoming Kansas State-Wide Improved Grounds Maintenance requirement, solicitation W911SA27QA010. The planned procurement combines grounds maintenance and winter weather operations, including snow and ice removal, from 20 legacy contracts covering 17 U.S. Army Reserve Center installations in Kansas into one firm-fixed-price task order. The requirement is planned as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under GSA Multiple Award Schedule Category Facilities, SIN 561210FAC, and NAICS 561210, using FAR Subpart 8.4 ordering procedures. The notice states that the formal RFQ will be published on GSA eBuy no earlier than seven calendar days after this notice. Prime contractors are encouraged to use local small businesses and legacy incumbents as subcontractors across Kansas, subject to FAR 52.219-14.
