Description
The City of Bend is seeking proposals for three years of extended preventative maintenance, repair, and supplies for its automated vehicle wash bay at the Public Works Campus, with an option for three additional years. Services include labor, at least annual preventative maintenance inspections, repairs and equipment replacement as needed, required detergents or approved equals, service reports, and remote diagnostics using the existing cellular modem. The maintenance scope includes lubrication, flow-rate checks, chain adjustment, detergent calibration, voltage and amperage checks, operational checks, and inspection of detergent and rinse nozzles. Proposers must submit a letter describing their interest, qualifications, experience with similar engagements, proposed approach, and two recent similar-project references. A cost proposal must include three-year maintenance pricing, repair and overtime hourly rates, replacement-parts markup, detergent pricing, estimated expenses, optional-service pricing, and any significant deviations from the scope. The City estimates total spending will be less than $250,000 over the contract term.
