Description
Steuben County is seeking one provider in each of three service areas—Bath, Corning, and Hornell—to provide automated conveyor or drive-through washing for County fleet and Sheriff's Department vehicles. Services must include exterior washing with detergent and water, cleaning of rocker panels and tires, forced-air drying, and high-pressure cleaning of undercarriages and wheel wells to remove road dirt and salt deposits. Vendors must provide availability 24 hours a day, seven days a week, a method to verify County vehicles such as a swipe card or key fob, and a monthly invoice summarizing services. Pricing is requested per wash for each service area. The contract is expected to run from execution through December 31, 2026, with up to four one-year renewals by mutual consent.
