Description
Broward County is conducting a Request for Information regarding a proposed single-source designation for GateKeeper Systems Inc.'s proprietary Commercial Vehicle Management Software used at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The system operates a commercial vehicle management platform and a separately managed transportation network company operations module, integrates with TransCore automated vehicle identification hardware, and supports enforcement and collection of per-trip fees from ground transportation operators. Required capabilities include remote RFID lane-hardware diagnostics and updates, remote control of RF sensors, rapid troubleshooting without on-site dispatch, NEMA-compliant enclosures, batteries and antennas, fiber-optic and cabling connections, and integrated software with full maintenance support. Vendors should submit information demonstrating that they can meet or exceed these requirements, provide a comparable alternative, or contest the proposed single-source designation. This is not a request for pricing or a purchase commitment; responses will be reviewed by the Director of Purchasing to determine whether the commodity or service is available from multiple suppliers.
