Description
The City of Farmington seeks a contractor to replace the existing pond outlet structure, overflow standpipe, valves, and conduit with a new precast concrete outlet structure. The base work includes a valve vault, knife valves, head gates, a trash rack, demolition and abandonment of existing infrastructure, grouting, erosion controls, and site restoration. Bidders must price two alternative methods for installing the outlet pipe through the embankment: jack-and-bore installation of HDPE conduit within a steel casing, or open-cut installation of HDPE outlet pipe. Work on the active impounding structure must comply with New Mexico Dam Safety Bureau requirements and City standards, with critical winter-season sequencing. The bid package also requires a 5% bid guarantee and includes online bid attributes for pricing and bidder qualifications.
