Description
The Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced developers to lease or purchase and redevelop approximately 7.54 acres of CRA-owned vacant land in the SW 600, 700, and 800 blocks of West Atlantic Avenue. The proposed project must include a mix of residential and commercial uses, housing for a range of incomes, and active sidewalk-level frontage limited to general retail or services and facilities. The development should strengthen the Atlantic Avenue corridor, improve connections between its west and east portions, create a positive visual impact, and respond thoughtfully to the history, character, and context of surrounding residential neighborhoods. Proposals must be submitted as sealed hard copies by mail or hand delivery; electronic submissions are not accepted. A voluntary pre-proposal meeting is scheduled, and written questions must be submitted by the stated deadline.
