Description
The City of Pearland is soliciting sealed electronic bids for construction of a 1,139-foot, 12-inch HDPE sanitary sewer extension along Scarsdale Boulevard from Woods Court to Fortuna Drive. The work includes traffic control, stormwater pollution prevention, trench safety, removal and replacement of an existing sanitary sewer manhole, installation of four new precast sanitary sewer manholes, coring and connection to an existing manhole, bypass pumping, utility protection, and adjustment of an existing water line as an additive alternate. The project also includes removal and restoration of approximately 712 square yards of concrete sidewalk, 48 square yards of roadway pavement, 200 linear feet of curb, topsoil placement, and approximately 600 square yards of grass sodding. Bidders must submit the electronic bid proposal, bid security, required questionnaires and statements, vendor references, insurance documentation, and other listed forms through the City's electronic bidding system. The contract requires substantial completion within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with performance, payment, and one-year maintenance bonds each at 100% of the contract price.
