Description
The U.S. Navy is seeking a firm-fixed-price contractor to provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, crane and rigging support, and qualified personnel necessary to dismantle, package or palletize, label, and relocate two metal stair towers at Dry Dock 4. Each tower weighs approximately 76,200 pounds and measures approximately 17 feet by 29 feet by 58.5 feet. Components must be secured on conventional pallets or dunnage, labeled with their weights, unloaded by the contractor, and relocated to a government-designated staging area within one mile of the shipyard. The government retains ownership of the dismantled steel, and scrap disposal within the shipyard is prohibited. The contractor is responsible for hazardous-material testing, abatement, and disposal if hazardous materials are discovered. The quote must include a Standard Form 1449, CLIN 0001 pricing and an itemized breakdown, a technical capability statement, a removal plan, an environmental protection plan, a safety and fall-protection plan, a lift plan and contractor crane entry plan, a draft hot-work checklist, and two to three recent relevant past-performance references. Contractors must provide qualified personnel, a project manager, industrial-hygiene and environmental-management support, crane and rigging equipment, safety and environmental controls, and security-compliant on-site performance. A valid CMMC Level 1 self-assessment and affirmation in SPRS are required before award, and attendance at the mandatory site visit is a prerequisite to submitting a quote.
