Description
The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research for a modular portable medical storage unit designed for rapid deployment in military, disaster-relief, and remote healthcare environments. The system must use a modular configuration consisting of a mother cube and 36 mini cubes, with each cube measuring 15 by 15 by 15 inches, and must support transport by air, sea, land, drones, and motor vehicles. The requested system must include portable ventilators, multi-parameter monitors, ultrasound systems, high-rate infusion devices, blood warmers, a power station and generator, RFID inventory tracking, and tamper-proof shelving. It must provide waterproof, corrosion-resistant, military-grade construction; configurable surgical and triage workstations; compatibility with standard power sources; rapid assembly and disassembly; user and maintenance documentation; and routine inspection, calibration, and servicing of the medical devices, power equipment, casing, and RFID system.
