Description
NAVFAC Hawaii is conducting market research for comparable products to Lexycom Terra telemetry radios and Moxa NPort 5110 media converters. The proposed telemetry radio must operate in the 156–174 MHz band, provide approximately 10 kbps average RF channel data rates optimized for Modbus, use a 50-watt power supply, support IP-based mesh routing and peer-to-peer, peer-to-master, and predetermined packet-routing protocols, provide real-time encryption through an onboard NIST-certified cryptographic module, and support Modbus, HSQ, and serial data interfaces. The proposed media converter must transmit serial communications over TCP/IP Ethernet, provide a 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet interface and RS-232 DB9 serial interface, support TCP Server and TCP Client modes, allow configurable RS-232 parameters, and operate on 12–48 VDC. Responders must submit technical data, product information, specifications, and company and contact information in a typed Adobe PDF response using at least 11-point Times New Roman, single-sided 8.5-by-11-inch pages.
