Description
This Sources Sought notice is market research for a potential firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract to manufacture, test, and deliver solid waste processing equipment for Navy ships. The equipment includes plastic waste processors, large and small pulpers, plastic and metal/glass shredders, electrical enclosures, auxiliary units, control valves, and related assemblies. Equipment must conform to the specified NAVSEA drawings and undergo applicable testing, including first article testing for designated equipment types. The anticipated ordering period is 60 months beginning at award. Work, manufacturing, and testing would take place at the contractor’s facility; completed equipment would be delivered to locations identified at the delivery-order level. Interested businesses are asked to submit a capability statement of no more than eight pages addressing relevant prime-contractor experience, technical capability and capacity, and intent to propose. This is not a request for proposals, and no award is being solicited through this notice.
