Description
The Nevada Department of Wildlife is soliciting sealed bids to lease a portion of the Bruneau Wildlife Management Area in Elko County, Nevada, for cattle grazing. Initial bids must cover 100 animal unit months for April 15, 2027, through November 15, 2027; subsequent years will be invoiced annually at the submitted per-AUM price, with stocking rates, grazing areas, and seasons determined annually based on prescribed use and habitat conditions. The selected BWMA grazier may also apply to the Bureau of Land Management for grazing use on the adjacent Scotts Table and Taylor Pockets allotments, subject to separate qualification review and permit issuance by the applicable BLM office. The BWMA agreement will end November 15, 2031.
