Description
The City of Mason is seeking a qualified engineering consultant for a multi-phase project involving collection of existing overhead and underground utility information, ground topography, and utility surveys along US 42 (E. Main St.) from Mason Montgomery Road to Fox Drive. The work may also include preliminary analysis and a drainage study for future corridor improvements. Potential subsequent services include preparing a utility design to facilitate relocating utilities underground and preliminary roadway engineering for future storm sewer, sidewalk, curb, streetscape, bicycle facility, roundabout, right-of-way, traffic signal, and highway lighting improvements. The selected consultant must demonstrate the required Ohio Department of Transportation prequalification categories, including utility design, bicycle facilities and enhancement design, non-complex roadway design, roundabout design, limited right-of-way plan development, basic traffic signal design, and limited highway lighting design. The Letter of Interest must be submitted as an electronic PDF, limited to ten single-sided pages plus two pages for the Project Approach, and must address the firm's qualifications, staff, workload, experience, and project approach.
