Description
Royse City Independent School District is soliciting bids for a camera upgrade project across three campuses: Glenda Arnold Early Childhood, Baley Middle School, and Summers Middle School. The contractor will be responsible for replacing existing Advidia and Panasonic cameras (excluding I-Pro cameras, which are to remain) with new Avigilon IP surveillance cameras. The work includes uninstalling and salvaging old cameras, installing new cameras using existing data cables and patch cords, ensuring power and network connectivity, and aiming cameras to the best of the installer's ability. Final camera view adjustments will be made during a meeting with the owner. The contractor must also fill out a consultant-provided spreadsheet with MAC addresses, serial numbers, model numbers, snapshots of final views, and associated drawing labels, correlating with as-built drawings. The project includes various camera types (fixed dome, multisensor, dual sensor) and mounting configurations (wall, ceiling, corner, pendant), with some locations requiring ladders or scissor lifts. The contractor is to provide all necessary parts, accessories, and mounts, and must coordinate with the district for owner-furnished ceiling tiles.
