Description
The U.S. Geological Survey's Indiana Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit is purchasing one utility jon boat, one outboard motor, and one trailer for fish and wildlife field research, boating-safety training, and related conservation activities. The boat must be at least 17 feet long and meet applicable U.S. Coast Guard requirements; the motor must be an outboard, four-stroke gasoline engine rated at least 60 horsepower with power trim and tilt and electric start. The trailer must have tandem axles, winch and strap, jack, motor support, LED lighting, tie-downs, safety cables or chains, and a spare tire with mount. The requirement is brand-name-or-equal to specified 2026 Tracker Grizzly 1754 SC, Mercury 60 ELPT 4S, and Trailstar UTIL 1754 models, with welded V-hull construction, flooring, a marine battery, and at least a one-year warranty. Award will be based on lowest price among technically acceptable quotations. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside, and vendors must provide a technical description, warranty terms, pricing, applicable representations and certifications, and acknowledgment of any solicitation amendments.
