Description
The City of Rifle, through its Department of Parks and Recreation, is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or businesses to lease and operate the Rifle Creek Golf Course clubhouse restaurant, adjacent patio, and two City-provided motorized beverage carts. The concessionaire will provide food and beverage service for golfers, the public, tournaments, leagues, outings, banquets, private events, and other approved functions, including menu development, pricing, staffing, point-of-sale operations, marketing, customer service, cleaning, maintenance, inventory, licensing, and regulatory compliance. Alcoholic beverage service requires the appropriate liquor license, and the selected concessionaire will be responsible for completing the liquor-license transfer process. Food and beverage service is not required until March 1, 2027. The initial lease term runs from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with up to two optional one-year renewals at the City's discretion and subject to City Council approval. Proposals must include the required narrative components, fiscal questionnaire, menu and marketing plans, qualifications and experience, references, financial and corporate records, certification forms, W-9, and insurance documentation. Both physical and email submissions are required.
