Description
The City of Fruita is soliciting bids for removal and replacement of concrete flatwork, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, trough drains, driveway pans, curb ramps, fillets, and asphalt at multiple locations. The work includes mobilization, material testing, stormwater management and erosion control, traffic control, unsuitable subgrade removal, geotextile, aggregate base course, concrete and asphalt installation, accessibility improvements, and related site restoration. The bid schedule includes work at the Fruita Community Center, Little Salt Wash Park, and several named residential or intersection locations, with estimated quantities and both lump-sum and unit-price items. Bidders must submit a completed bid schedule, signed solicitation response form, total base bid, 5% bid bond or other guaranty, insurance certificates or equivalent evidence, and any objections or suggested changes to the draft contract. The project has stated substantial and final completion deadlines of December 11 and December 18, 2026, respectively.
